EnquireMontebello Guesthouse is a contemporary and sophisticated B&B situated in the Eros suburb, one of the more upmarket areas of Windhoek. The location provides peace and quiet along with convenient access to the city centre – in fact, there’s a free shuttle service into central Windhoek that can be arranged on request. The B&B has a pleasant atmosphere, a lovely pool and is well presented throughout.
There are nine bedrooms, all with a private entrance and a spacious en-suite bathroom and children of all ages are welcome. All rooms are air conditioned and come with amenities such as a tea and coffee maker, a minibar, complimentary Wi-Fi and a TV with satellite channels. The decor is a pleasant combination of African and contemporary styles, giving the rooms a bold and clean feel, yet with plenty of character at the same time. The bathrooms come with a walk-in shower and a separate bathtub.
There’s a partly-shaded, pretty garden area with a swimming pool and loungers. There’s also a restaurant which serves a daily breakfast buffet. Lunch or dinner is not provided on site, though the staff are more than happy to recommend local restaurants.
Windhoek is both the capital of Namibia and the country’s largest city, with a population close to 400,000. It’s known for its extensive collection of German colonial architecture, as well as its more modern buildings. There are many historical landmarks and monuments to be found throughout the city, such as the gothic revival-style church Christuskirche, the 19th century fortress Alte Feste, which houses the National Museum, and Zoo Park, a public landscaped area with plenty of open green space, an outdoor theatre and a playground for children. A popular nearby attraction is the Daan Viljoen Game Reserve, which is set in a rather hilly area and has numerous walking trails that visitors are free to explore at their own pace.
We had an extraordinary time. It was magical and we couldn't hav asked or hoped for more. Thank you both so much for all of your time and assistance.

Trip was great and all the arrangements were excellent so thank you for all the help!
Drivers and transfers were all good - on time and very good service on each trip.
Accommodation was lovely - Douar Samra was amazing (weather could have been better but lovely regardless). Riad in Marrakesh was also great!
All in all a great trip and we loved the variety of the mountains, Marrakesh and the coast.
Thanks you once again!
