EnquireEtosha Aoba Lodge takes its name from san language (aoba meaning ‘when the sun goes down’). In the same vein, this safari camp evokes a sense of local heritage, bringing guests close to the surrounding bushveld and its inhabitants with its great location in near the Etosha National Park and views of small Namibian waterholes.
Guest accommodation consists of 4 Heritage bungalows, 3 Explorer bungalows, one Honeymoon room, which is the most private room and features an outside bath, and 3 large bush suites with two separate interconnected rooms, which are ideal for families or groups travelling together. The main lodge has a restaurant, part of which extends outside, a bar, a terrace overlooking a waterhole, a library, and an outdoor swimming pool.
Activities revolve solely around the camp’s great location near Etosha National Park. Guests can go on morning and afternoon guided game drives in Etosha, home to Big Five game, a variety of mongoose and wildebeest among others, and endangered species such as the black rhino. Birdwatching is also good here, with over 340 species of bird such as flamingo, Bare-cheeked babbler, and eagles commonly sighted. There are opportunities for guests to participate in Onguma sunset drives as well as interpretive bush walks.
Etosha Aoba is unfenced, so no children under the age of 7 years will be allowed. Children 12 and above will be accommodated in a family room at the full rate. Children under 10 years are not permitted on game drive vehicles, but families with younger children will need to book a private vehicle and guide if they wish to take a guided trip.
We had an extraordinary time. It was magical and we couldn't hav asked or hoped for more. Thank you both so much for all of your time and assistance.

Trip was great and all the arrangements were excellent so thank you for all the help!
Drivers and transfers were all good - on time and very good service on each trip.
Accommodation was lovely - Douar Samra was amazing (weather could have been better but lovely regardless). Riad in Marrakesh was also great!
All in all a great trip and we loved the variety of the mountains, Marrakesh and the coast.
Thanks you once again!
