Overview

This downtown hotel is just minutes away from Union Square and is conveniently located for the shops and cableway stops in the area. With 523 rooms and 22 suites, the hotel is large, but retains a boutique feel with modern rooms and decor. The hotel is Japanese owned, so the feel and furnishings have a Japanese vibe.

The best rooms on offer for families are the deluxe doubles which can sleep 4 family members in 2 double beds. If you want a room with a view, you can upgrade to the Nikko rooms. Additional beds are possible in the rooms, but larger families may find it more comfortable to spread out over two rooms.

As with most city hotels, breakfast is not included in the rate, but there are restaurants in the hotel, or alternatively there are plenty for you to walk to. The hotel also has a 16m swimming pool, whirlpool and fitness centre, You do have to pay $20 per room per stay for this amenity. The hotel does have wifi in all of the rooms, but again, you do need to pay for this additional amenity.

  • We had an amazing experience - absolutely loved it.
Mohamed and Said were great and very patient especially with me going downhill - was quite nervous about the scree slopes and paths.

Will be a trip we remember forever

  • I would like to say a massive thank you for organising our Vietnam trip. The itinerary and execution were superb, as was the attention to detail. I would also like to thank the agent who was on the end of my whats app chat (I have no idea who they were!) – always available, always quick to respond, and kept me updated regarding times etc. Also, the guides Dan (north) and Tien (mid) were just excellent, and we really enjoyed their company. The lady (whose name I have forgotten) who was our additional guide for the DMZ day was exceedingly good and made that day very special.
