EnquireLocated on the west coast of Phu Quoc Island right on the beach is the stylish La Veranda. This fairly large, sophisticated resort aims to provide guests with somewhere they can relax, unwind and enjoy a quintessential Vietnamese beach holiday in a prime location. There’s plenty to see, do and experience both on the resort and throughout Phu Quoc. Guests can fill their days with activities, or take things at a more leisurely pace. The property’s design is inspired by French colonial-style buildings of the past, though the resort is still in many respects a modern and contemporary place to stay.
There are a total of 70 rooms and villas, each offering views of the beach and the Gulf of Thailand, or the tropical botanical gardens. Amenities common to all types of accommodation include a satellite TV and DVD player, a ceiling fan and air conditioning, complimentary bottled water and a minibar. There’s also a private terrace or a balcony. All the accommodation combines traditional design with modern touches.
French and Vietnamese dishes are served at The Pepper Tree, the resort’s main restaurant. It offers fine dining experiences, which guests can enjoy while taking in views of the ocean. For a more informal option there’s Le Jardin, which offers al fresco dining on the open beach deck and whose menu features a range of international classics. In addition to these, there are regular beach barbecues and a full-service bar with a broad range of drinks available. Cooking classes are recommended for those looking to learn about the local cuisine, and private candlelit beach dinners can be arranged.
There's plenty to do on site at the resort. There's a pool and fitness centre and a spa offering an enticing array of treatments. Fashionable beachwear, souvenirs and keepsakes can be purchased at La Boutique. The stretch of beach directly in front of the hotel is private, and here guests can play volleyball and go kayaking, snorkelling or scuba diving. Tours and expeditions to various places throughout Phu Quoc can be arranged. Some of the island’s many highlights include its fine beaches, sprawling pepper farms, bustling markets and unspoiled natural park, known for its abundant rainforest wildlife.
The resort is child friendly, with a babysitting service available on request. Larger families are advised to book two interconnecting rooms and parents are reminded to keep their children under constant adult supervision, particularly when on the beach and near the swimming pool.
We had an extraordinary time. It was magical and we couldn't hav asked or hoped for more. Thank you both so much for all of your time and assistance.

We had an amazing experience - absolutely loved it.
Mohamed and Said were great and very patient especially with me going downhill - was quite nervous about the scree slopes and paths. Will be a trip we remember forever

I would like to say a massive thank you for organising our Vietnam trip. The itinerary and execution were superb, as was the attention to detail. I would also like to thank the agent who was on the end of my whats app chat (I have no idea who they were!) – always available, always quick to respond, and kept me updated regarding times etc. Also, the guides Dan (north) and Tien (mid) were just excellent, and we really enjoyed their company. The lady (whose name I have forgotten) who was our additional guide for the DMZ day was exceedingly good and made that day very special.
