Overview

Hoi An Trails Resort and Spa is a leafy, relaxing resort on the outskirts of the UNESCO World Heritage town of Hoi An, in Quang Nam Province, central Vietnam. Situated in a tranquil location between the historic old town and the white sands of Cua Dai Beach, the resort offers 100 well-appointed rooms, along with two restaurants, a spa, and a generous swimming pool, all within lovely tropical gardens. It is a good upper mid-range option for visitors who want a friendly, peaceful base and spacious, comfortable accommodation from which to explore the vibrant and bustling centre of Hoi An.

Communal areas include the informal Rice Lounge restaurant which offers all-day dining and a Vietnamese and western influenced menu, along with table football, billiards, and a selection of reading materials. Moc Restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner and offers traditional dishes with indoor or alfresco seating. Room service is available daily until 10.30 pm. Outside is a generous pool with a Jacuzzi and adjacent pool bar, all surrounded by verdant grounds scented with fragrant frangipani trees. Beauty treatments and massages are available at the popular spa which offers a sauna and steam room - note that reservations are required. Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort.

The hotel sits in a peaceful spot flanked by farms and paddy fields, a few minutes from the centre of Hoi An. This ancient port town is immensely popular with visitors who throng the winding alleyways lined with various eateries, bars, craft shops, and atmospheric French and Dutch colonial architecture. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service into the old town and to nearby Cua Dai beach. Complimentary bicycles are also available for exploring the local area.

The accommodation comprises 100 well-appointed rooms ranging in size from ‘Superior’ to substantially larger ‘Premium’ rooms and suites. Each room has a double or twin beds and a separate living area, plus a modern bathroom with bathtub and separate rainfall shower. All units have Wi-Fi, satellite TV, hot drink facilities and air conditioning. Each room or suite has a private outdoor terrace with pool, garden, or river views. Guests staying in Premium rooms and suites receive a number of additional benefits including all day breakfast, a complimentary minibar, complimentary access to spa facilities, and airport transfers.

Children are extremely welcome in the resort. A number of spacious split-level units with two bedrooms are available, ideal for families and larger groups. Extra beds can be provided upon request.

  • We had an amazing experience - absolutely loved it.
Mohamed and Said were great and very patient especially with me going downhill - was quite nervous about the scree slopes and paths.

Will be a trip we remember forever

  • I would like to say a massive thank you for organising our Vietnam trip. The itinerary and execution were superb, as was the attention to detail. I would also like to thank the agent who was on the end of my whats app chat (I have no idea who they were!) – always available, always quick to respond, and kept me updated regarding times etc. Also, the guides Dan (north) and Tien (mid) were just excellent, and we really enjoyed their company. The lady (whose name I have forgotten) who was our additional guide for the DMZ day was exceedingly good and made that day very special.
