Overview

This decidedly modern hotel is located within Lima’s Miraflores District, one of the city’s most affluent and tourist friendly areas. It’s a convenient base from which to explore the city’s many distinct areas, not to mention its abundance of attractions. Just half an hour away from the airport, the hotel is a comfortable, mid-range option for travellers on a budget.

There's a total of 42 air conditioned rooms, with the option of single, double or triple bed formation. All rooms offer plenty of space and are decorated in a pleasant and contemporary style. They have laminated flooring and contemporary splashes of red throughout, with stonework furnishings adding a touch of character. Amenities such as a hair dryer, an LCD TV with cable channels, complimentary toiletries and bottled water are provided; minibars are also available, though only on request. The bathrooms have showers with rainfall shower heads.

Buffet breakfast is served at the Sawa Cafe, which is also open daily for lunch and breakfast, serving an array of international and Peruvian dishes, with a broad drinks menu featuring local cocktails, fine wines and non-alcoholic beverages. Lighter snacks are also available throughout the day. The hotel has a public lounge and several social areas where guests are free to relax and unwind. Laundry services and currency exchange are also available.

The hotel is well placed for those wishing to explore the trendy Miraflores District. There are lush parks and beaches that are hotspots for water sports, plus a wide range of shops and a diverse line-up of restaurants, cafes and bars. The district’s central plaza holds regular art exhibitions and flea markets, popular with both locals and tourists alike. While there’s plenty to experience in the district, it’s definitely worth exploring the many other districts that make up the city. The historic centre of the city, for example, is home to an impressive cluster of well preserved buildings showcasing colonial architecture and design. Another district worthy of mention is the Barranco District, which has a thriving and energetic arts scene. It’s a hub for artists, designers and musicians, and surfers are also attracted to its beaches where top surfing competitions are often held.

The hotel does welcome children, although parents should note that there are no designated child services or facilities available on site. That said, there's no shortage of activities and entertainment for all age groups in the immediate vicinity.

  • We had an amazing experience - absolutely loved it.
Mohamed and Said were great and very patient especially with me going downhill - was quite nervous about the scree slopes and paths.

Will be a trip we remember forever

  • I would like to say a massive thank you for organising our Vietnam trip. The itinerary and execution were superb, as was the attention to detail. I would also like to thank the agent who was on the end of my whats app chat (I have no idea who they were!) – always available, always quick to respond, and kept me updated regarding times etc. Also, the guides Dan (north) and Tien (mid) were just excellent, and we really enjoyed their company. The lady (whose name I have forgotten) who was our additional guide for the DMZ day was exceedingly good and made that day very special.
